Lyrics
The Stars Love You

secrets from a whisper are fading away
things that were said linger in your head
but the stars love you so

and a cloud of tears will rain
staining the secret life
and the stars love you so
they don’t want to let you go

sometimes life will leave you feeling dry
no one understands what’s rally on your mind
but the stars love you so

and a cloud of tears will rain
staining the secret life
and the stars love you so
they don’t want to let you go

karma plays a evil hand
some will lose, some will win
but the stars love you so

and a cloud of tears will rain
staining the secret life
and the stars love you so
they don’t want to let you go
and the stars love you so
they don’t want to let you go

Star Love
When the cruel world plays indifferent, it's only human to look to the heavens for love. Count your lucky stars (and ignore those unlucky ones).

Great sound right from the get go .. which only grows in nuanced complexities along the way.

Riding on that bouncy bass and tom toms you make it sound so easy but the layers I hear here and when the lead comes in Im swept away in the wash of the stars cool!

usually when it comes to recording the bass i tend to wing it. bouncy seems a good way to describe it.

The drums sound fairly realistic. Well, that doesn't sound like much of a compliment. Put it this way --- there's an almost off-the-grid feel that only a real drummer could produce, or else some fancy drum program I don't know about. Anyway, beyond that, good writing and performance. Liked it.

Hi Vic...This had an early REM meets Tom Petty late 60's music vocal vibe to it making it all appealing.. I especially liked the instrumental bridge..nice power point there.. Your vocals also reminded me a bit of George Harrison on the verses..Deep lyrics

Smooth classic rock here, and definitely in the VH style. I like the chorus on this, and the laid back groove throughout. Nice work - enjoyed!

Magical Mystery Tour...
...rides again. When you break into the chorus sections with that sort-of raspy vocal, I couldn't help but think of the MMT. Guitar bridge around 2:00 is nicely placed in the mix of things. and I really like the IDEA of the stars having such a positive perspective of things even when all else fails. ... Oh, the trailout is nice, too. Very cool track, Vic. Much enjoyed by this decidedly non-rocker.

All Holman
I could say this song had a little bit of this or a little bit of that but I know from years of listening to you that it is all Holman. Never known you not to put out a quality song. You have built your own sound and style not to be confused with any other. Another nice one, right up there with your best.
