Description
The aim was to produce a calm, relaxing instrumental. When I had the guitar tracks and a basic backing, I realised it needed something more - so I asked Chris Flynn (Rok41) for some help. He added a beautiful bass line, improved my attempts at drums/percussion and mastered the track. Thanks Chris!

I'm very happy with the final result and I hope you enjoy listening to it.

The photo was taken at Williamstown, outside Melbourne Australia. You can read about the Tall Ship here: http://www.enterprize.org.au

Very nice. Tasty guitar parts and a thick and woody bass tone holds it all together. Great mix.

Dreamy ... a touch of sad in the minor ... smooth lead tone and the picking left and right sit real good in the mix... solid rhythm keeps it all grounded.
Well done!

Hi Stan
I don't use minor keys all that often for instrumentals, but often like the feel of them when I do. Might try a few more! Thanks for stopping by, Stan - much appreciated!

Hey Philip - of course anything Chris plays on is going to reflect his talent, but I'm impressed with your playing on this too. Really smooth and interesting lead lines, over a sultry and mellow musical bed (again Chris' adds on percussion as well as the finishing touches are excellent) make for a relaxing and contemplative listen. Enjoyed, my friends - nice work!

Back from Norfolk Island last night. Worth a visit. A gentle, wistful collaboration. Like a light breeze on your cheek, whilst sitting looking out over the sea and thinking about an absent love. Lovely lines, Philip. Chris has wrapped it all together so nicely, too. Perfect title. Talk soon.

A melllow tune...
...recorded in that "70's-kind of atmosphere." Beautiful playing from all involved. Yes: the bass helps frame your stellar guitar and the drums, while very simple, are just what this needs to keep it moving along. This is the kind of peace that is just so very pleasant to listen to...many times. Such a pleasure to hear this kind of beautiful and well-recorded/mixed music.
