Description
I've seen a few covers here somewhat recently and I paid for the license to cover/ use this, so I figured what the hell- Here's my "tribute" to Joey, Dee Dee, Johnny and Tommy.

Brilliant!!
I love the Ramones. I used to play Rocket to Russia until it was just skeletal vinyl. Great cover. The buzz guitar works really well. Needs the bass a bit higher in the mix. Vocals are great. Well done. How much did a license cost?

More power
Thanks for coming and having a listen. Just wondering what you mean by more power and if you have suggestions? Thanks again

Thanks
for asking for clarification.

I mean it sounds "tame," mix-wise, esp for this song. Even when I cranked it, there was just some sort of ooomph missing.

The stereo field sounds a bit narrow and the recording is a little on the thin side, sort of in line with what SB said about a louder bass, but I'd go further and say more low end altogether.

Otherwise, the performance and vocals are top notch--enough that I would have like to hear more of it.

If you sent me the raw stems: no limiting, eq, compression, etc. I'd love to have a go at an alternate mix. Totally understandable if you'd prefer not to do that. I just liked it so much that, again, I want more form the sound.

let's go
Chainsaw guitars buzz buzzing and cutting a swathe through the song. Your voice fits better than Joey's. Still need a bass guitar though to bring out the bottom end. Good stuff though. Cheers
