Lyrics
We the living
Yea, we take our time
There's always tomorrow
to make up our mind
We the living
We've got troubles ahead
Making mountains out of mole hills
Ive heard that said
Oooooooh miss you so
I miss you so
ooooooh miss you so

We the living
Learn to laugh and smile
But love and understanding
That can take a while
Oooooooh miss you so
I miss you so
ooooooh miss you so

Do you ever feel
Like you missed the train
You got off at the station
And there you remained
And every train the came by
Blue it's whistle in the air
It wasn't calling to you
It wasn't calling to you
It wasn't calling to you
It wasn't calling to you
Oh oh oh oh, miss you so
I wish my words meant more, so much more
But they are hollow in my head

Never enough
Nice job at commemorating a dear one. It aches with sadness and it yearns for something palliative - that's pretty much it for "we the living" when life has to go on after a distressing loss. Our words never can say enough, but still there is some relief in knowing we have tried to express our thoughts and feelings.

Came back for more...
This work is compelling, production really supports the lyric and the singing is bodacious.
Thanks for sharing your work with us here.

Lovely tribute
My condolences. A touching way to turn your loss into a fine song. Raw, just as it should be. Good production too.

We the living
Gentle melody, light touch with the backing works well, thoughtful lyrics and heartfelt vocal. Beautiful work.

A fine tribute
Mothers-in-law are not usually held in such high regard, at least not publicly (mine was also very special). Obviously she was vital to your family, and 58 is much too young.

It's always hard when someone close leaves this Earth, but music offers a little bit of consolation

i've heard that said
really like the lyrics on this one - straightforward and honest - same for the vocals - and I like the choral/choral synth background vocals. You're a real talent, but you know that, or at least you should. Sorry to hear about your mom in law - 58 is a lot closer to my own age than it used to be and when you hear about things like that it gives you pause.

All too
familiar feelings bro... As we get older we lose more and more folks we love. It does leave a void, and it HURTS. You have ably given expression to this reality. Thanks for your emotional honesty!

Be well friend!
