Shimmers of Light

I love the general sound of the piano in the recording. The way you've let it ring and echo near and far is exquisite. And those low strings are so rich and filled with power. I like the spaces you leave in realizing the soundscape, too. They help the motif take on increasing relevance in the exposition of these ambient sounds. My only desire would be for an expansion of that original material into perhaps an "alter-motif" and then, just maybe, a counterpuntal play between the two. But this is absolutely enjoyable just as it is. (Now I'll get to my desktop and see if I can conjure up the light show. Such interesting and unusual work. So much enjoyed.

Don't know what to say...
beyond that I found listening to this quite satisfying... Love the mood when the string section comes in...

Be well friend!

You're missing half the fun
if you don't listen & watch in iTunes with the visualizer on. This nearly always produces an interesting light show.

It all sounds wonderful Henry: airy and spacious and quite delicious. Is the #1 a hint that they're may be more?

The Visualizer in iTunes is great fun, esp to see how different sound qualities in different tracks create different colors, shapes, movement, etc.

There may be more convolutions, but they're likely to be focussed on listening rather than watching. There are so few downloads it seems nobody is trying it.

Thank you
That was a beautiful piece of music, which I instantly enjoyed several times while testing all the iTunes visualisers. Seems the default actually was the "best", even if it happened to be the last I tested. The others were great at first but quicker became a bit "boring". Not so the music, though, which I hopefully will return to often, with or without visuals.

Thanks again and take care,

Experimental music is any music that challenges the commonly accepted notions of what music is. There is an overlap with avant-garde music. John Cage was a pioneer in experimental music and defined and gave credibility to the form. As with other edge
