Description
The period between 2010 and 2011 was an exceptionally fun one for me. I was privileged to work with several talented and generous fellow Macjammers on a number of my tunes.

Recently, when I went back to remix these tunes, I found I had lost most of the files. So all I've been able to do is to remaster the original mixes. Thankfully most of these were pretty decent (IMHO). So not a total loss after all.

This over-the-top/tongue-in-cheek farce---originally posted under another (rather inappropriate) name---was one of the most fun for me. I still laugh out loud whenever I listen to it. :-)

It features:

Micheal Wark (Calchas): acoustic rhythm guitar, lyrics, vocals.
Scott Fugate: drums and percussion.
Neil Porter (Jiguma): on bass.
Bob Sperber (Bob6stringer): on acoustic slide guitar.
Alex MacCauley (Relic67): on violin.
Alannah: [incredibly sensuous!] alternate vocal.

Hopefully this remaster will prove enjoyable to newbie and MJ veteran alike.

Vocals and violin make me think of Bob Dylan's Desire period. Plenty of swagger, Mike. Love it when the bass and drums kick in. The acoustic slide and violin fill it out beautifully. Alannah provides the touch of class at the end. Super band. Great outcome. Thanks.

Hey Peter!
"swagger"? Ha ha... I usually STAGGER!

One can do plenty with "a great band." Glad you enjoyed it!

Not a remix.
No can do. Files lost. Just a remaster of the final original mix. Still sounds better though I think....

Be well bro!

Enjoyable
to this verteran. I never heard Alannah sing in this style song before, but she fits so well (surprise!). Relic's violin was a super highlight. Loved it! The perfect touch to a kickin' song.

Thank you Sam...
Relic played violin for me on a couple of other tunes as well. I love his playing. Wish he did it more often. Glad you like the tune.

Hey John!
I'm surprised you missed it too! MJs was still huge back then and this tune did quite well.

Thanks for the kudos!

I'm not sure if saying those things to a woman wouldn't earn you a slap in the face. I guess it depends on the delivery. Which is pretty ok here. Cool song.

Ha!
You're probably right! But then again, this is deliberately tonque-in-cheek... My wife thinks the song is hilarious. (I didn't even have to duck!)

I'd forgotten about this one Mike
I never get to play bass on anything quite this bouncy these days - maybe I'm getting too old for it.
It's a shame you couldn't find the original tracks, as this could mix into something really great. Still fine of course - lots to love and enjoy here for sure. Some excellent performances.
Cheers from Oz,
Neil

I was hoping you'd catch this remaster.

"Too old"? RUBBISH! Your recent playing sounds better than ever to these ears!

Anyway, this is perhaps my favorite of all the old collabs. Glad you were on board for it!

Nicely layered!
Slow build up and the fiddle works so well.

You could jam for hours on this.

Alannah's contribution is worth waiting for :-)

Cheers

Alannah did a great job. I don't think anyone else could have pulled it off quite like she did. And what a stroke of luck getting Alec to play his fiery fiddle on this.

God I miss the old days here at MJ.
