You Tube Collapse
Saturday, April 08 2017 @ 07:42 AM CDT

Major advertising has been pulled from You Tube in the last few days.
Content providers report the loss of 90% of their per view income.
This was prompted, apparently, by a Wall Street Journal report sent to
major advertisers, like Coke, Pepsi and Walmart, demonstrating their adds
were subject to appearing on channels with blatantly racist or hate filled content.
This means? The end of alternative viewpoints on You Tube? Unless providers
present their work for free, yes Fergi, there is not more alternative.
Check it out, see yer favorite sites, the shut down notices are blooming.

Sounds good to me. Maybe teens in Lower Boglovia will quit making up "news" and posting it for income. Maybe it's a return to free (as in beer) speech as opposed to paid speech.

And lest we forget, the internet isn't the whole world....

Day Way-Beyond-One:

No impact on anything I ever watch on YouTube. Not "a little bit". Not "minuscule." Zero.

As someone once said:

"Day one. Nothing unusual happened. Maybe you could relax a little? In deference to your stern, heart felt warning, please keep all informed if ya feel something hit.

But, as always, I imagine there will be a makes-sense-to-you reason why when YOU say or do something you criticize others for, it's not only acceptable but necessary and laudable.

"We have to remember...when it's surrender that's called for, it's not surrender of your brains. It's surrender of your ego. It's a different thing." --Bruce Cockburn
