Description
Remix of a song about someone who was murdered by her boyfriend. I found out about it years after the event, so she was still alive in my imagination all that time.
It was very strange to hear about it the way I did, and the feeling haunted me. It still does, in fact.

Lyrics
I was talking to a friend
I heard that you had gone
A jealous guy took you down with a borrowed gun

I saw you at the window
Your eyes were shining in your face
There was no time for a last embrace

This is a big improvement on the previous mix, lots of interesting interplay with the guitars. How do you do that with with cheap Chinese nylon? Eight thumbs up.

You know how you can replace a broken fanbelt with a ladies' stocking? Well, a similar principal applies with guitars and cheap Chinese nylons.
Thank you for the kind words.

Really interesting sound. Very cool textures, and, man,
you can really tune that cheap guitar and get some mellow
sounds out of it. Wonderful guitar layers. Excellent
sounding track, but it seems strange (and sad) to place it
in Pop. What about Folk Rock?

Thanks, Tobin. It's very nice to get such comments from someone whose work I admire.
To be honest, I'd forgotten that there was a folk rock category, as I was thinking about Gordon Lightfoot's "The way I feel" by Sandy Denny's Fotheringay when I wrote it. I'll recategorise it if I can.
Well done on the radio show, incidentally. I believe MacJams and its denizens are really going places.
