HURRICANE BOOMERANG by wal4u remixed by doddster

I need you baby like I need a hole in the head,
I need you baby like I need another hole in my head

Hurricane Boomerang your mother was so un-kind
to hang that handle on you, child. Something wild, like a
Hurricane Boomerang kicking in my door again
I pick you up and dust you off at gunpoint oooooo what a girl

Her momma said she was no good. She's a nice girl, really, but not not a nice girl, really.
They made her queen, her mom, they did. Right out of a bad dream
She told a lie, upon a lie, and so on and so forth
Her momma cried and stamped her feet and she lead the parade

I'm her husband, I'm her doormat, I'm such a putz and she's my wife
I'm a fool as she walks right up and she wipes her feet all over my life

Hurricane was beautiful, she was all girl times a million
Mine was deaf, dumb, and blind love
I jonesed for the cool breeze, and she would take me out at the knees
everytime. I loved my hurricane.

Neil, another great outlet of yours. And again, I'm just crazy again about Wal's jazz-like dissonant vocalising. A brilliant choice of uncommon melody. Gosh, not an easy job to accomplish... But it sounds so effortless with him. Yeah, I'll just tell it straight now: I'm jealous as hell:-)

Thanks Walter!!
Imnpressive remix Neil. I love Wal's stuff, and this has added a really interesting vibe to his original song. You have added a UK style to Wal's very US approach. I watched the "Classic Albums" DVD on the making of Aja, and there are distinct hints of Steely Dan in the way you have blended the wonderful sounds of Wal's original song (and vocal) and your revamp of the instrumentation.
Excellent song!!!!!

Hey Doddster,

You have a great voice man. Lounge-y and thick, without being too sappy. I like the cafe-singer mash-up with trip-hop. My kind of juxtaposition. Keep it up.
