Description
I took my songs down at the start of the year for EQ and mix tweaks, and to repair some things I figured out how to fix. If you listened and liked them the first time (or even if you didn't), please give a new listen! If you downloaded the original, these are sonic improvements in my opinion, and the mp3's are recoded at 192kbs.

The long outro is my homage to the Zep classic "Kashmir." Some folks wanted the lead to be more "present" in the outro, so I started the fade a bit later.

perfect
i respect this. excellent guitar work, the mix and production sound very professional to me.

i can hear the Kashmir similarity, although this is in 4/4 (which is OK) and i think that song had an added or dropped beat in the pattern somewhere. (or maybe it only sounded that way?)

interestingly, it doesn't sound like it's in 4/4 at the end. i needed to count it out to get it.

i can't think of what to suggest for improvement. maybe the bass could be a bit hotter? maybe in just one spot the drum fill could be a tad more flamboyant? but not too much, or the attention goes away from the the guitar...

thanks!

Homage, but not a rip
Thanks vert much for your comments. You're right, it's not a direct lift of the LZ chord progression, it's the same stair-climbing feel with a different riff. I'm not sure who strayed more from the standard rock time signature, Zep or me. But it was fun!
