Can a small patch of Bluegrass survive in a small crack in the city's sidewalk?
Can a country boy survive in the big city?
What happens when the city and the country mix?

old adage
is true,"you can take a boy out of the country but you can't take the country smell out of the boy" yee haw...
Citry is the genre style that you'd get from such a mixture....but really you have a good mix of styles and a ear for production and mixing, I like the way you blend each part together

The Brooklyn Hillbilles
Works for me. I'm gonna keep that idea for a TV show in my pocket. Could be a better show than some that are on the air now.

Good idea
I think maybe I'll try another one like this but ask the question "what would happen if a bluegrass artist got hooked on crack?" Could be an interesting song idea.

Thanks for the comment.

Interesting comment
For some reason I never became a Zappa fan, but you are the second person to mention somewhere that I use some Zappa-like runs in my pieces. I guess that would be reason enough to listen to some Zappa and find out who I a stealing from. <G>

not bluegrass
sorry but this is not Bluegrass.

Bluegrass does not use any type of electronic synthesizer.

One of the fundamental aspects of Bluegrass music is its use of traditional Applachacian insturmentation: Violin, Banjo, Mandolin, Guitar, base, dobro etc.

I agree
But what is it then? The answer could be that it is pure junk and maybe it is, but it is man who made the words that describe everything including genres of music and, just like any man, I reserve the right to misuse those words or try to stretch the definition of them. :)
BTW I used to play in a bluegrass and jug band a long time ago and this is nothing like what we played, but then again we did not play anything like the Yonder Mountain String Band either. :)
Thanks for the comment
