Are there lots of rastafarians in London?
I like this track. Drip drip drip drop. Melodically it's pretty simple, but that guitar reinforces the mood by just echoing the vocal melody. The backbeat organ is a bit unusual: one would expect a more Hammond like sound. This one disappears a little in the mix. But hey, it's not authentic reggae, right? So everything is allowed.

Cool stuff.

London...
Yeah, London isn't so bad except when it's raining on a summer Sunday and you just want to get out somewhere. Thanks for listening tommarie. Appreciated.

Thanks Jojo
I live and work a 3 minute walk away from Chapel Market. You're not missing much. Your home surroundings look beautiful and a million miles from Islington, London, must be an interesting story there.

nice breaks
Like the jazzy keyboard playing.. For some reason I foun d the lyrics and yur style of singing slightly cynically comical in a kind of Paul Merton way.Give me a break - I've woken up and thought that without even getting out of bed on occasions and reach for the half empty bottle of whiskey on the window ledge.(Only on occasions mind you) (:

Nice one Len, I like reggae songs and this has a lovely feel to it. Well done and good work. I just wish I could get this depth of quality myself. Still I'm learning bit by bit.

great track len. you manage to bring so many elements that cohere without clashing into each other. you've got som many riffs going on fomr different genres....and you can hear each of them individually within their own space. it makes for a very interesting listening experience. the bit of percussion on the outro...is it 'drip drop' put through an effect? sounds fab. great track len. re-release it....a dead-cert hit second time around.

Thanks
Julian - I really did just make this up as I did it - and was bored watching the rain. All loops apart from me and the guitar.
Thanks for listening - maybe I should go back to not worrying and tweaking and just do it.
Cheers
