Swamps of New Orleans

Get Flash to see this player.

This one has been unfinished for a while. I tried to put myself in someone's shoes who went through Katrina as a child, and this is their story looking back into the past. I have yet to complete it, but I at least wanted to share what I have so far!

Way back in the Swamps of New Orleans
I lost a part of me that should never have been
It feels like I lost a part of my ken

The world around me changed before my eyes
even all the clouds high up in the sky
I even lost my house and I don't know why

Sometimes I feel that life is no mystery
and I'll find out what my soul means
way back in the Swamps of New Orleans
