Description
Here's a something simpler than usual, but I tried to maintain (and surpass) the usual level of power through careful dynamics. It's an orchestral version of the "Innermost Dynamo" techno songs on my page. This is my first time using trumpets. Haha. Anyway, please listen and tell me your likes and dislikes! Thanks for being here!

great job
I enjoyed listening to this song. You have a keen sense of bringing all the right instruments together. Thanks for sharing it with us. Keep up the great work :)

intriguing
Very nice use of dynamics here to overcome the otherwise stiff MIDI sound of the brass and choir sounds. Some of your chords tend to be a bit dissonant, but that's more my issue than yours ;-) Overall, a nicely arranged piece of mood music.

Hurrah!
Wow! I'm delighted to find three replies here (it's more than I usually get). Thanks, all, for your compliments and insights.

Feter, the way you describe my song makes me feel joyful. :D

gail60, I appreciate it that you believe I have a keen sense for instrument choice. I never thought about it like that.

drakonis, even if it's more your issue than mine, it's probably true that I could do more work on the chords. Thanks for pointing it out. I haven't taken formal music lessons before (except for snare drum). Kinda learned all of it by trial and error and... listening to music. lol

Thanks again everyone! I'll be checking out your latest pieces soon.

Well done
I'll have to listen to the techno (!) version to hear how you got here. I enjoyed it. Inventive arrangement. And as Eduard pointed out, the use of dynamic changes add a lot.

Fine work - thanks !

Thanks Boundless!
I am very happy to hear these things. It'd be cool to hear what you thought of the techno as well. The Innermost Dynamic songs are some of my most heartfelt pieces. Thanks for your interest!

beauty of brass
the soldier has seen many battles. his journey is almost complete. he must now travel home. he is proud of his accomplishments. he sees images of a wife, far away. it is time to find his way back. the road back is treacherous. the mind is weary and scarred. the way back has many false turns. he tries to remember the path. it cannot be this far away. however, this is not his land. he is lost. insanity has won. it is a sad story. 0x0

this is a very impressive arrangement. i'll have to go find the original and listen. Excellent choice of sounds and instruments. A very powerful composition full of emotion. My only suggestion would be to do whatever you can to help the Garageband sounds seem less synthy and more realistic. Otherwise this is a great piece of music. Very well done.

Amazing Intro
I love the regal sound of the horn intro! The whole thing is amazing. Your music definitely has a movie-soundtrack feel to it--cinematic, sweeping, with emotional weight. I dig it.
