intoxicating?
i always appreciate the special relationship between music and intoxicants, as music can both be an intoxicant itself as well as both benefit from and enhance pleasurable vices. I think that idea also applies to this song. It sounds like it came from some place deep down. And it would be a very enjoyable listen in a comfortable chair with a chilled drink in your hand.

E-organic!
I've went through a pretty strong listening dive into acid jazz and trip hop in the 90s, and have ignored it ever since. But this is a nice groove that I'm glad caught my attention. Overall, it's a very nice outing that helps me re-appreciate the genre. It gives me the feeling of something natural and organic being translated in the e-age.

In the intro section, in the opening drum part, there's a slight behind-the-note delay (a 64th rest?) in the 7th beat of 8 (or is that 3rd beat of the 2nd measure? Something like that). It lends an interesting twist, similar to the way Ringo's little delay works in the Beatles' classic "Ticket to Ride," genre notwithstanding.

Meatless Days
Exhausting percussion workout, Chief, I was expecting pots and pans to be banging and little unknown instruments to dance, get loose, and come along. Thank you for sharing this creation with us.
