Experimental music , by creating textures and layers.
This is a new venture in creating music for me.
The piece has a cosmic feel to it and tone complexity , dark into light.

I enjoyed these textures
I might be able to use this with an ambient video some day... By the way, your Bach on the Acid is one of my favorite Macjams tunes. I also commented that you went kind of wild on Starlight Express with your soloing, but in hindsight, you do it very well...keep it up!

Thanks for taking time out to comment
Please feel free to use it as you wish.
You were right about the soloing btw , one of those things that seemed a good idea at the time. Glad you like that other mad piece Bach on the Acid , I mean that is really OTT.
Thanks so much for stopping by .

Feter glad you liked it .
Thanks once again for your kind words. You are very generous with your time ,and you took time out to listen to a rather lengthly piece of music without lyrics.
My friend FloryMac said to say hello to you btw.
As I have said before , getting a compilment from fellow musicians is the fuel to go on. So I thank you for the fuel.

Very sweet space ambient piece!
It's a pity you are not more present on the site for more people to discover your music. It's worth it! I enjoyed this a lot and downloaded for further listen.

BTW, the label Experimental is probably not so good to get more people to this piece. I'd suggest Ambient (if maybe not in its strictest sense) or Cinematic soundtrack. I could easily hear this in many types of movies, sci-fi and more "romantic" stuff.

Anyway, good to have you back with a new post!

Take care.

Henke , I know. You are right .
Because a lot of my day is spent where there is no broadband , I don't really get a lot of time to go online , with kids and other commitments you know the story ...
But delighted that you listened my faithful friend.
You are right once again I may add about the genre. But to me it was experimental using techniques I normally don't use. Now in hindsight ( the only exact science known to mankind ) I think you are right.
I suppose I am a bit shy and insecure about being more bold about my music , when I realise the brilliant musicians on macjams.
But give me time and I may one day get it right. Anyway great that you stopped by my friend , its good to know you are out there dude.

I hate the dentist.
Next time I have to go maybe I could listen to this, close my eyes and let it float me away. Lovely.
Downloaded for use when I am stressed out (which is often). Thanks.

Very Nice
This is very nice and ethereal, if I wasn't glued to the chair I'd float out the window and over the distant fog shrouded hills.
Beautiful music Cormac as usual.

I compose music ( but cant read it ). My stuff is simple and atmospheric. Mostly one takes and one offs. My music is instrumental and I try to compose in different genres. I have learned most of what I know way way back from two people , my friend... [see more]

Genre Info
Experimental music is any music that challenges the commonly accepted notions of what music is. There is an overlap with avant-garde music. John Cage was a pioneer in experimental music and defined and gave credibility to the form. As with other edge
