Lyrics
All the local green routes
He knows the arrival time
But he's not connected
To the central brain line.

He always wears a badge
To show he can't rhyme
He claps the passing trains
But not in very good time.

He makes the announcements
Which passengers ignore
Talks to commuters
Through the closing door.

He's got a map in his head
but no direction
Got a ticket to ride,
But no destination

Train boy- is very special.
Train boy - is loved by his mum
Train boy - chases the engine,
Train boy - never gets on.

Train Boy
Minor feel of the song underscores the sadness of the character, sci-fi synths reflect his insanity. The sounds chosen complement each other well, and they are all sitting nicely in the mix. You don't say who wrote the lyrics, but it seems like a topic Ste would take on. I can picture Train Boy buying a sweet potato, and avoiding any fat ninjas brushing by him on the platform.

I should add…
Lyrics by myself, but vocal melody & harmony was all ste. Great to have a singer. Most of my stuff is instrumental. Also there's a guitar track ste added to.

Enjoyed this
I like the dark ominous sounds and the way you left it late to bring in the beat....... should be in a moody black and white film...... very moody, but nice, cheers M

E-rock done right.
I'll piggyback on JohnWhitehead's comments. A great original, well-developed (arranged, mixed etc.) the dual chorus vocals work especially well. The best electro-rock I've heard in a while, the tech serves the song vs. being showy for its own sake.

train to dysterbia
a bit of odd mental voyeurism... looking into a clouded mind... the lyrics, strangely enticing music really sticks with you... Minor things like a pop-filter for the vox would be good, but in general the lo-fi sparse feel really works well here. I love enigmatic lyrics like this. Great work you two!

Well done song
Enjoyed it much. STE rocks and apparently so do you! Cool vibe to this song. starts off quirky then kinda morphs into a depeche mode style song.

Very nice!
Shades of Bowie and Pink Floyd (and probably other bands I don't recall). This collab works really well - I'd probably like the vocal mixed a little higher in the mix, but not a big nit.
Good post.

Train Boy
Very cool vibe on this piece. I can clearly hear the STE influence in this song's beat and the stylistic vocals. Great backing track. Well done all around. Excellent job!
