Description
I got the main idea to this song while I was sweeping a floor ... so it seems like the monotonous work helped me to get to that almost ZEN feeling without any disturbances and restlesness. I made it a couple of weeks ago when I was still back home in Czech as a quick draft and kept tweaking and playing with it for a last few days since I've been back in NY. So I am glad to be back in the States and bringing something new to other MJ's. Looking forward to any comments ... be with peace!

Gem quality work!
Hi Honza--I was interested in reading how sweeping the floor brought this about. I often get my best ideas when I'm out walking my dog! This is some very excellent new world music--I didn't know how you were going to top the first half, but when that guitar came in--ever so softly--just beautiful! Thanks for doing this up! Michael

Hi Honza.......
This is a wondrous piece of music. The Zen feeling is, or isn't. The music seemed to draw me into it as the dynamics built up and I was sad when the piece ended.

Nirvana would come easier to someone practising whilst listening to this mix.

Take care.

Paul

Wow
That is a really nice comment. I would be glad if my music could help people reach Nirvana or at least inspire others for the practice ... I know it is not an easy one :)

Wow
Great restraint in the intro - I could almost hear Peter Gabriel start singing, like on Don't give up) - very nice build up to the crescendo near the 3 minute mark and then back to some sweet meditative music where quite enough is happening to keep interest. Enjoyed this a lot, very sweet composition and excellent production. (Well OK, maybe just a little bit to short and quick fading at the end ;-)

Thanks for the inspiration, and the download!

Wow
Hi Henke, glad to read your nice comment. I was actually thinking to play a little more with the second part, which could be easily extended, so I just did a quick post ... but the main idea is there, so maybe I will do just a little longer solo at the end some day ... Thanks for listen!

..
its amazing how monotanous jobs can inspire the soul! I used to sweep a school hall after dinner and it would be covered in chips and stray peas.. Lovely sounds youve chosen here and slightly reminded me of primal scream..great use of the reverse cymbal effect to build tension.Your guitar playing is great - love the wah on that - I was going to say it could benefit some extra reverb but then the accoustic guitar line came in setting it off perfectly
Building up to a floydesque finale - very creative.Cheers - Rich

Oh yes ... monotonous jobs can have some strange effects on you. So sometimes it is better to esccape to some other place in your mind and let the body do one thing and the mind sth else. Thanks a lot!

Open production
I like the subtle treatment that you have given this piece. The space between the notes is as cool and important as what can be heard.
