Hi Harald!
You really get some amazing effects, though i have no idea how!

There is something industrial about the beginning, a train indeed, sliding with noisy, ominous force towards an unknown and not entirely trustworthy destination.

Slowly the feel of the piece acquires levels of feeling, and becomes lighter, brighter, as it passing through pleasant, non-threatening country.

Halfway through, the atmosphere slowly darkens again....though now it is not such a mechanical feel, more organic, living...the grinding sound of the wheels is hardly discernible....

i am thinking now of something suspended, flying in air or water, no longer rumbling, but floating, flowing....

Then the tapping of iron, and the steel-clad engine is summoned again, referred to in a rumbling undertone again. Still the destination is not clear.

The end is back on the rails, fading quietly, taking its secrets along with it...

Much enjoyed,

Thank you!

...I must say, having just gotten off a plane yesterday, this reminded me in a lot of ways about all the excitement that builds up to the lift off and then took me on a flight of musical fancy. Very interesting work Harald--you have a real talent for taking divergent sounds and making them into something exciting and rewarding to listen to. Thanks again--and you take care now! Michael

Such power
Your soundscapes are always so well put together and this is no exception. Very disturbing industrial landscapes imagined, would be great music for the Planet Harkonnen scenes in David Lynch's Dune. Most excellent composition Harald.

opening sounds as if i'm lying on a track as the train rolls above me or maybe I'm slung underneath the train and travelling with it, since other noise-scapes come and go. You really do get the feel of power, movement and strength here..... love those discordant metallic clangs and sounds every now and then..... enjoyed, regards M

Big and intense. I like when the more rhythmic elements entered around 1:30. They build nicely and gradually add some nice intensity before fading away!

Wow, this is almost like a ticket for the intergalactic ride. The soundscape you built here is really immense and creates a nice imaginery. The ticking sound gives it some minimalistic touch which is well supported by some new sounds and great work with delays. Reminds me of some Lisa Gerard's - Silver Tree album pieces. Great work!
