World of the Dream

So this piece is pretty epic. Last August I wanted to try writing music to an actual trailer, and I decided to try "re-scoring" the "Inception" trailer.

Rather than take a completely different approach, I decided to emulate the music in the trailer to the extent of how it was structured, and other things. For example, that brass blast is kind of essential, so I carried that over in to this. I tried to be as original as possible.

It's no where near as good as the original cue- Zack Hemsey's "Mind Heist"- but if you listen, I hope you enjoy it! I learned a lot from the experience. :)

Rapid Eye Motion
REM sleep for sure. Interesting idea, writing an original score for a well known trailer. Now I gotta play your score and the trailer together. This certainly has the feel of Inception. Good job!
