The Story:

He was 19 years old, a warrior for the Kings army. His name was William, he did not want to go to war, self preservation however is a strong motivator, if you wanted to be fed you fought.

The captains always said go forward one step at a time, slash, stab, take a step, slash, stab, take a step. Infiltrate the enemy lines break them up, and break them down take there heart out of the fight, and most important show no mercy.

Charge.... The fight is on....slash,stab,move forward ....infiltrate. Thats how the day would go, time after time, young boys 14 years old would die, old men would die, Infiltrate break them down...Take away hope...Forward take the land..No mercy...Slash...Burn...Kill....Every evening William would eat and remember the many that had died that day, he was thankful he lived to see sunset again...

Near the end of day three's battle it happened, William felt a searing pain moving from his back to his chest, he turn quickly his breath gone, there stood a boy, not even in his teens, eyes wide and wild, blood covering his short sword, with all that William had left he stuck the child down.

William collapsed to the wet earth, the sounds of battle slowly fading into the distance. Eyes fixed to the sky, every breath stabbing his chest, pain overwhelming, he was dieing that he knew. William wondered if the Captains even knew his name, he wondered if anyone would tell his mom, or sister that he died like a warrior, in battle for the king. Would he be honored, remembered by his comrades, missed by his Captains, did they even know his name ?

William's eyes glassed over, his breathing ragged and halting, then silence...

Infiltrate/Dying Breath
Outstanding from the first note. Love the dramatic string theme. The techno and rock elements have a cool Nine Inch Nails vibe.

Love the delicate piano theme in the 2nd part!

Excellent mix ... love the bottom end in my phones. Powerful tune ... what are you using for strings? 4:15-ish piano ... sweet.

Great story and the the theme reflects it really well. Piano and strings in part 2 are a nice contrast. Perfect for a film score.
