Description
This is another older (for me ~6 months) track I dug up from the hard drive (I'm busy doing collaboration stuff, so completing old things is a nice way of taking a break). Wasn't too happy with how it turned out at first and I got stuck. Later, I found a free vocal sample by an artist called Future Analysis that made quite an improvement, and things moved on. And so here it is. Perhaps someone will enjoy it.

I'm experimenting with delay and reverb so it's a bit heavy on those.

Lovely. Very warm. I love the melodic analog synth entering at 1:06. The vocal sample is a nice addition.

weightless
and ethereal. i really enjoy this kind of music. i've said this before about your music - it's the chord progressions that i find unique in your style - the constant movement, without committing to one particular mood. not the usual 4 or 8 bar circle - more like a small, calm river - ever new, rather than a stagnant pond. inspiring, actually, but definitely soothing with 5 o's!

Thanks for this nice comment! Hehe, yeah. Specifically on this one, I threw the concept of 4 and 8 bar circle away at an early stage, tried actually to structure it but couldn't so I just let it flow its own course.

I like the way you have structured this - a has a nice build to it with new sounds/instruments swirling in to add to the overall effect. Gentle, soulful music. Much enjoyed!

Wow wow wow
What's not to like in this beauty! Really glad you found that old file and decided to continue with it. The most beautiful, relaxing piece I've heard in a long time. He, I even think it cured my head-ache :-) :-)

Might as well try it one more time...

Big thanks, and take care,

Henke

Nice slow undulating waves of smooth pads makes me drift off. I like the higher lead tones. Rhythmic beats are subtle and not to over power the composition. Good job!

Beautiful piece. More of an ascent than a descent, but what do I know? Like Paul says, keep up the good work! Floating away.
