I know .... shouldn't post covers .... this is us live last Saturday doing a Groovehound take on the classic Dylan/Hendrix...../hounds tune ... rough around the edges ... we've been busy playing a few gigs so we haven't posted in a while... this is one we pull out and jam too usually towards the end of the last set. I don't think we ever have played it the same twice ... it's one of those whatever happens songs. Im playing my 63 jazz master through a crybaby, roland overdrive, boss delay and my fender hotrod amp with groove tubes and the fender amp reverb which I love.

You're obviously having fun here - as the laugh at the end suggests! It's a great tune for jamming - a very open chord progression that lets you do just about anything. So it's up to the talent of the player to make things happen- and you're an excellent example of that! Lots of energy and the wah wah works a treat for this song. I wish I'd been there!

That jazz master sounds sweet
Of course it takes someone to play it like this. Really dig this cover. Wow, the band sounds really good. Kudos to all involved.

Seriously good rendition, 'Hounds. You can tell you completely switched into the sound you can get out of the Jazz master et. al., Stan. I need to get up your way and come and listen to you guys. Eastern Canada is on the list! A cover that you make your own. Thanks, Peter.

really like your
guitar tone. your vocals are actually reminiscent of the way bono sang this song on rattle and hum. make of that what you will.

all along the ....
cool, intense approach to a classic. i also pick up some of the hendrix style that he was heading to in his last year.
