Patrick
But you're not even from Kentuckee- er ye? A revelatin' mix of zeitgeisty winds blowing thru the window screens on that side porch of yours.... out there in Greenvul. I like it.

You Sir....
Have the distinction of being one of the few worth knowing. Actually 11 years in Kentucky....where all my blood is from....I adopted Florida, after about 8 years... a completely different story

Roots music
Sounds like a Smithsonian archival recording of an old folk song. Very cool effect. Rich with Appalachian charm.

Bill Monroe? Naw, Sleepy John!
Post the lyrics Pat. The arc of your intellect is nothing to be shy about... Allow us to join in the celebration by fully understanding and contemplating yer rap!
Dat bass drum made the track, like John's boot banging the chair leg on one and three...

That's some real down home music. Could perhaps use a hound dog howling along?

Strummin' on the porch
Does your barker sing harmony? Funny, the image I've always had of you playing on the porch of an evening is almost exactly like the photo above.
We don't get enough of you here Patrick. Good 'un.

My Last Great Depression
Recorded on a wax cylinder? :-) Sounds authentic enough to be. Atmosphere seeps from the recording. The words seem secondary. Thanks.

You're putting me in a blue grass state of mind
Great authentic sounding tune. Could have done without the bass drum which is not idiomatic for folk music...

My Last Great Depression
It does sound authentic. I'd probably prefer to hear this live and see the person bring it to life, but I enjoyed the listen!
