My first attempt at using Logic Pro X. Brought over some vocals from my GarageBand library.

Nice work, Don. Thanks. I like the drive provided by the bass and drums. Vocals are nicely mixed. Impressive first attempt. Possibly could benefit from an enhanced sense of stereo width? Logic has a widening tool - Direction Mixer in the Imaging audio plugin folder. Set the width to > 1 in the output track. Or there are numerous Imaging plugins on the net. Izotope Ozone Imager is free at the moment. Forgive me if I am telling you stuff you already know. I enjoyed the ride. Thanks.

I'm very much a neophyte with Logic Pro, so I appreciate your recommendations for anything I can do to better use the tool and produce a better sound. Thank you!

Firefalls from the Sky
Wonderful dreamlike sound here... great harmony, sounds like air blends, if you made them yourself bravo! This has a strong vibe, easily associated with 75-77 alternative pop music. Not a bad thing at all.
I had a bunch of ideas listening to this, the more I listened the more I found the work to be inspirational.
I have to critique your mix, allow me to say that space is your friend more than you are aware? Separation of the rhythm section from the front line would benefit the production here. Push the front line up in the mix.
I have a demand too, sorry, mix the guitar until the sound of some of the handling noise is apparent to the casual listener. Throw in a lick a VST can't do well every once in awhile too please... just for honesty sake?
I will be back. Great stuff, thank you for sharing your work here.

Sounds great!
I bought Logic Pro X back in October of 2016. It takes a while to master the learning curve, but it's worth the effort. Sounds like you've made a hell of a lot of progress man!

Great tuneage, well performed and produced. Stunning vocals...

Be well friend!
