Description
One of the tracks I did for RPM 2019. I had interface issues and other matters came up and I opted to not submit what I had, even though I was probably about 90% done. So now I'm working through the mixing and this is as close as I think I'm going to get with this one. Big thanks to particledots for his mix input.

Lyrics
Bird in the hand
Two in the bush
Love is complicated
And it needs a little push
Maybe if you gave me
Just a little more time
Fever pitch
Strike 3
I'm swinging and I'm missing
Wish your kissing was for me
Maybe if you gave me
Just a little more time

You've got my number
You wrote it down

Bird in the hand
Two in the bush
Love is complicated
And it needs a little push
Maybe if you gave me
Just a little more time.

Lovely gentle song.

Mix sounds great...
Very pro.

A Beatles/Everly Brothers fusion of sorts.

Enjoyed!

Boston 1966?
North Eastern 1966 values with able playing and genre perfect execution. Well done if that was what you were going for... The north east had a unique sound for what then was called rock-n-roll.
Just a couple of comments on production values. Warm till just below brittle please. This genre was created with the Vox amp. They sound warm and bright. Stereo field or mono? Close but not in your face. (The lyric suggests an intimacy and universality yet the production is set back into the stereo field giving an awkward distance to the proceedings.)
Your work is always a grand listen, thank you for posting at MJ.

you've
got the mix spot on. The drums sound great, I like the shaker. Guitars nicely understated and solid vox. Really enjoyed
