Hey KC
Funny as hell 'anit it? As usual with the Number Station Series I laughed my ass off making this, it became funnier as the tune progressed I have some dark versions... Thanks for the kudos on the solo, that piece was really unique and came on the first pass, the harmony is not sane, but it works perfectly.

Busy Mix!
Hello Charlie. Thanks for following me. Let me give ya some insight into Daug house mix techniques, no secret stuff though lol...
I am working with a template. The template has a physical place for everything in the room, just like recording a band. It has a place for everything in the sonic spectrum as well. This template driven approach features subtractive equalization. There is compression of several types on much of the material. There are lots of processes going on in the template, like phase matching, all the reverb is sculpted, precise attention is paid to the details of the mix in the template, for example there is situational panning so the lead streams move against the background. The template is a lot of work, but once established in yer DAW all ya have to do is fill the thing up and viola-instant rough mix on yer tunage.

Linear Story Jack
The administrator of 317 is an interesting guy doing a job he does not enjoy. Probably not gonna get an unplugged version. I can't get my banjo to cover the distorted guitar tones on here. I could probably play the solo again on acoustic but I don't know how we could compress the signal enough to get the sustain in those Dimarzio pups in the #1 guitar. Forget the slide tone, it's pure LP. Yer just gonna have to listen to this version. Thanks for sticking with me through the years old friend.
Now that Phil is not holding down the acoustic end of town, maybe I should do some ah? Let me finish a few electric pieces first... lol.

There are known unknowns
Which for some reason comes to mind listening to this.

Quite something Mr D.

Loved the production and I'm not sure I can even begin to work out what's going on.

Splendid lyrics btw

Cheers

Hello Dick
The known unknowns are known in the meta above the confused consideration for the reasons of control. This idea is explained in the pieces "Gooogles Da Troof" and "Captured Consciousness Lecture".
This one is a character study of the administer of the processing station where the "Deplorables" and the proper folks who receive permission to board busses for "Safe Space" are seperated.
The story is linear. A bus arrives and the administrator meets the traffic, separates the wheat from the chaff and gives a rousing reassurance to his charges. He returns to his office to shower, smoke some dope and reflect on the business he is troubled with, he has a budding consciousness problem and something is terribly wrong it seems... Just the news. Thanks for asking. I don't get to explain unless someone does...
